Today, Soran has revealed his new single ‘SPACEBOY’ via Universal Music Canada. The Montreal-based artist brings irresistible, R&B-inspired melodies to the track, alongside intriguing electro-acoustic textures. Padded out with dreamy harmonies, Soran’s smooth and soulful voice delivers love-struck lyricism to shape this into a breezy slow-jam. Reworked by producer and frequent collaborator Connor Seidel, this magnetic new release from Soran is sure to propel him straight towards big things.
The song is accompanied by a mesmerising music video, which sees Soran flicker between a journey as the futuristic SPACEBOY and intimate song-writing sessions in a cosy log cabin. This thoughtful release also features Soran’s name written in Japanese on the single artwork, in honour of his late mother and his roots. ‘SPACEBOY’ introduces us into Soran’s world, and we can’t wait to hear more.
