Schutzer has just debuted on Spinnin’ Records with his brand new song , ‘Be Right’ with vocals by Pershard Owens.
It’s no secret that legendary dutch record label Spinnin’ Records is responsible for some of the coolest and most hyped releases in the industry, but this time what calls our attention is their focus on young talents, just as Schutzer in this brand new release Be Right, full of emotion and sharply produced.
Released last September 24th, the single Be Right marks Schutzer’s debut on Spinnin’ Records, one of the biggest in the world, on the Controversia label – captained by Alok as we well know. In 2019 Tiesto played a song by Schutzer – More Than Ever – at Miami Music Week which turned the spotlight on the sound of the young talent and, of course, catapulted the success of the track, which now exceeds two million streams on digital platforms. With Sony Music, Austro and other brands in his background, Schutzer’s tenth release makes his sound identity clear in a song about love, with a deep and energetic atmosphere that took more than a year to get complete.
Pershard Owen’s vocals worked well with the synths and bass that bring Be Right to a kind of modern Deep House. Listen now:
When asked about his creative process, Schutzer declared recently in an statement to DJ Mag Brasil:
“It all started when I arrived from a long trip. I went straight to my studio and created the melody. Right away I realized that it had great potential for Pershard’s vocals and then I sent him, who liked it a lot and here we are.”
Schutzer concludes by saying that:
“We decided to write a deep song about love, after weeks it was almost ready, but as I’m a perfectionist there was always something I wanted to change, until it was 100% it took me one year. It was a long job but the final result was worth a lot!”
