SWEEPR releases infectious new single “Overtime”

After falling in love with Ian Vahn Dahl’s, “Castles In The Sky,” SWEEPR has always wanted to make music that bends genre rules and comes across as unique and distinctive. Blending techno and infectious melodies together, SWEEPR has brought a new dynamic to the dance music scene.

SWEEPR is back with a new offering entitled “Overtime.” Featuring impactful synths, pounding drums and infectious vocal lines, the track will be sure to pick you up and leave you wanting more. It’s quite clear that SWEEPR doesn’t just create music, he creates impactful sonic soundscapes.

When speaking on the new release, he said, “Overtime was actually the first track I had an idea for when thinking about the Night Shift EP. Night Shift and Overtime are inspired from “working overtime” or staying up late through the night. It’s a mixture of work culture but also rave culture, and figuring out how to balance the two. A large group of our friends were all born in Oct/Nov and we were in Las Vegas together. A few of us were still up around 7am, and that’s when I had the idea to write the Night Shift EP. Overtime was the first track I started writing lyrics for, but as I said, it took on a brand new path since that day.”

“Overtime” has been released in anticipation of his new EP “Night Shift.” We, for one, cannot wait to see what 2023 brings him.
