TightFist releases infectious new album “The Plug Project”

TightFist has been working on and practising his craft for years. He started freestyling at the age of 14 and was inspired by the different genres and cultures surrounding him at a young age. TightFist was born in Ghana and was surrounded by U.K & U.S students whilst at school. At the age of 15 he moved over to France, exposing him to a completely new music scene. His music is a colourful melting pot of Hip-Hop, Dancehall and Afrobeat.

His latest release “The Plug Project” is a 7-track offering that will immerse you into his music world. Whilst some tracks such as “Droptop” are hard-hitting, atmospheric and anthemic, what is more impressive is the vulnerability TightFist showcases on some of the mellower tracks. These tracks come with a vibrant melting pot of understated guitars lines, vintage drums and heartfelt bars. His much-loved tone works hand in glove with his smart lyricism and will be sure to engage the listener.

Speaking about the album, he says: “I decided to make the decision to drop a project at least once a year instead of just dropping singles – and my last project was in 2021. The year was ending and I had a pile of great songs i worked on (as I still do) and decided to pick a few for a project before the year ended so I could share my works to the world. There’s a lot more to come in the future and I also linked up with a few well established artists in the music scene for some features like Negrito and M.O Bourbier who are well known in France. I even had a professional footballer (Mario Lemina) feature on the song VVS and he did quite well!

With musical versatility and an impeccable work ethic, TightFist has all the right attributes to get to the top. They’ve also got him to where he is now, with a string of accolades already achieved. TightFist performed at an Adidas concert last summer alongside a string of gigs and club shows throughout Germany. His music is real and fully represents him and his growing fanbase.
