Verhoog unveils new track ‘Forget Her’ with striking visuals

Toronto-native Verhoog has unveiled a new track called ‘Forget Her‘ which comes with some striking debut visuals.

Forget Her‘ sees the multi-instrumentalist croon over a downtempo woozy beat that he describes as being about “a relationship that changed my life, by ending.” Dreamy bells and disjointed drum patterns serenade the singer leaving wide open spaces for his sorrowful harmonies to tiptoe between.

The track’s glitchy visuals illustrate a “trip through a lost Toronto summertime romance” and match up perfectly with its sombre tone of the song. Check out the Nick Perry-directed video below.

Verhoog’s latest follows a stream of previous projects from the artist including his 2015 Childhood EP (Produced by The Kount) and his self-produced EP’s Verhoog and Bloodstone.
