Chester Bennington’s wife shares last video recorded before his death

Chester Bennington‘s wife has shared the last video recorded of the singer before his death to show that “depression doesn’t have a face or a mood.

The video was taken just 36 hours before his death and shows the Linkin Park frontman smiling, laughing, and in good spirits, eating jelly beans with his children without know the flavours of them.

Prior to posting the video of her late husband, Talinda Bennington tweeted: “My next tweet is the most personal tweet I have ever done. I’m showing this so that you know that depression doesn’t have a face or a mood.

The follow-up tweet, which featured the video, reads: “This is what depression looked like to us just 36 hrs b4 his death. He loved us SO much & we loved him. #fuckdepression #MakeChesterProud’.” See the tweets below.

Chester Bennington took his own life back in July and since then his wife has shared a number of social media posts expressing her emotions.

She said in a statement: “He was a bright, loving soul with an angel’s voice. And now he is pain free, singing his songs in all of our hearts. May God bless us all and help us turn to one another when we are in pain. Chester would’ve wanted us to do so. Rest In Peace, my love”.

Recently Bennington’s son, Jamie, shared some of his own original music and released an EP. Linkin Park also announced plans for a special public event in honour of their late frontman. Read more about that here.
