Dave Grohl reveals the band he’d most like to play with

Dave Grohl has divulged the final band he’d like to play for.

The multi-talented musician has a hefty discography: from Foo Fighters frontman to Nirvana drummer and boasting collaborations with Queens of the Stone Age, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, The Melvins, Tenacious D and David Bowie.

But the artist had revealed today that there’s still one band he’d like to check off his bucket list – AC/DC.

In an interview with Forbes, the Foo Fighters frontman was asked if there were any acts that he still wanted to play with, to which Grohl responded:  “AC/DC. That’s my last one, that’s it. Phil Rudd is back though. If you dive back into their back catalogue, that early s**t, there was a little bit more dynamic, then they settled into the groove. That’s the thing. And it’s because of Phil Rudd. It’s AC/DC, but that guy holds the key.”

Grohl recently performed alongside the Yeah Yeah Yeahs at a get-out-to-vote event in Los Angeles.

Last month, the drummer surprised fans alongside Foo Fighters bandmate Taylor Hawkins by performing alongside Metallica.
