Disneyland Paris to open EDM festival this summer

Disneyland Paris is set to host a brand new EDM festival this summer.

Electroland will take place on 8th July, taking in 10,000 revellers. The news was confirmed on Disney’s website this week.

The festival’s full line-up is yet to be announced, but already confirmed on the bill is headliner Steve Aoki, Australian duo Nervo, and French DJs Michael Calfan and Richard Orlinski.

Disney said of the event: “A spectacular outdoor stage of Production Courtyard, in the heart of the Walt Disney Studios Park, is waiting for you with a breathtaking decor…. you’ll be immersed in a magical universe and surprised by spectacular mapping projections in front of The Twilight Zone Tower Of Terror.”

Tickets are available on the Disney website.

Recently, the company unveiled plans for enough Star Wars films to see them into the 2030s, while two Star Wars theme parks are set to open in the US in 2019.
