Gorillaz have announced they will be releasing a new album next month.
It’s called The Now Now and is set to arrive on 29th June. News of the new record was announced via an Instagram story that Jamie Hewlett‘s wife Emma shared. The Now Now was first teased by the band with a new website which featured a teaser video. Posters promoting the new record were also were reported to have been seen at All Points East Festival with the text: “NO MORE UNICORNS ANYMORE“. Check out the Instagram announcement below.
Back in March, the simian four-piece debuted a new song with Snoop Dogg called ‘Holywood‘. Gorillaz last album, Humanz, was released last April and marked the first new record from the group in six years.
