Jamie xx has scored Romain Gavras‘ new movie, The World Is Yours.

The World Is Yours premiered at Cannes Film Festival earlier this week and is an action comedy about a group of gangsters. In addition to music from Jamie xx, the new movie also features music from French producer SebastiAn.

So far the film has received positive reviews from critics and has been compared to Quentin Tarantino‘s iconic movie, Pulp Fiction. Watch the trailer for The World Is Yours below.

Gavras is best known for directing a number of influential artist’s music videos including M.I.A., Kanye West & Jay-Z, and Jamie xx’s ‘Gosh‘ visual. His debut movie, Our Day Will Come, dropped back in 2010.
