Janelle Monáe shares new music, videos and album details

Janelle Monáe has shared two new songs, a new video, and announced details of her new album, Dirty Computer.

The first Prince-like song the artist shared is called ‘Make Me Feel‘ and arrived with an accompanying music video. The Alan Ferguson-directed visuals star Tessa Thompson and see Monáe flaunting her fluid sexuality. Check out the video below.

Her second offering, ‘Django Jane‘, was released with a video that features the singer’s face appearing on the lap of a woman whilst she raps “Let the vagina have a monologue.” Watch the striking visuals below.

I actually had this title on this concept before my first album The ArchAndroid, and it scared me because a lot of the things that I knew that I needed to say were very deep, very personal, from the heart,” she explains of the new LP.

You know, this is an extremely vulnerable album and it took me a while to make it because I’m a self-editor.

Both of the new tracks are set to appear on the Kansas-native’s new record which is slated for release on 27th April.
