Justin Bieber has been banned from China

Justin Bieber has been banned from China as the government reportedly attempts to “purify” the arts.

The singer is due to bring his Purpose World Tour to Asia later this year with dates scheduled in Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, The Philippines, and Indonesia. It looks now like China, however, will be off the agenda after the Chinese culture bureau has prevented him from performing due to his “bad behaviour“.

The Bureau has issued a statement explaining the reasons for the band. The statement reads: “Justin Bieber is a gifted singer, but he is also a controversial young singer. As far as we are concerned, he has engaged in a series of bad behaviours, both in his social life and during a previous performance in China, which caused discontent among the public.

The ‘Sorry‘ singer caused controversy during his 2013 Believe tour performance in China when he was carried up The Great Wall of China by his bouncers. Although a ban has been placed, future prospects of him performing in China are not out of the question.

We hope Justin Bieber is able to improve his conduct as he grows up and will once again find public favour”, the Bureau also stated.
