Linkin Park have announced a new live album titled One More Light Live which features recordings from Chester Bennington‘s last performances.
The new album follows the band’s most recent studio album, One More Light, and was recorded during their final tour with their late frontman, Bennington. In a statement on the group’s website, they explain that One More Light Live is dedicated to Bennington who died by suicide back in July this year.
“After we finished recording the album, we joked with Chester that—since he had delivered so many stunning performances in the studio—he had set the bar extra high to produce that alchemy on stage each night,” the statement reads. “Not surprisingly, he welcomed the challenge.” Read the full statement here.
One More Light Live is set to arrive on 15th December via Warner Bros. Back in October Linkin Park hosted a memorial concert in honour of their late frontman Chester. Stream the tribute gig here.
