Remy Ma has fired shots at Nicki Minaj in new track ‘Shether‘.
The tracks, which remixes the classic Nas beat ‘Ether‘, features a pitched down voice saying “fuck Nicki Minaj,” before calling her out on many counts.
“You stole that line about bitches being your sons/How you take my ’09 jail tweet and run/Talkin’ ‘bout bringing knives to a fight with guns/When the only shot you ever took was in your buns,” Remy raps.
The single comes with brutal cover art featuring a mutilated Barbie doll with pink hair. Nicki has responded with two Instagram posts—one since-deleted post outlining the sales figures for Remy Ma and Fat Joe’s recent single ‘Plato O Plomo‘ and another featuring some words from Beyoncé.
‘Shether‘ appears to be a response to Nicki Minaj’s recent track with Gucci Mane, ‘Make Love,’ in which she seems to allude to Remy Ma: “You see, silly rabbit, to be the queen of rap/You gotta sell records, you gotta get plaques.”
