The music world has paid tribute to Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington who died age 41

The music world has paid tribute following the death of Linkin Park‘s frontman Chester Bennington yesterday (20th July).

The singer, who was 41-years-old, was found at his residence in Palos Verdes, California yesterday and his death is being investigated as a suicide. The news shocked fans and musicians alike and now a number of artists have paid beautiful tributes to the singer’s life.

Mike Shinoda, Bennington’s bandmate, tweeted to confirm the news. He said: “Shocked and heartbroken, but it’s true. An official statement will come out as soon as we have one.

UK grime artist Stormzy, who collaborated with the band in 2017 on their single ‘Good Goodbye‘, also reacted to the news with a series of tweets. “Bruv I can’t lie I’m so upset serious” he tweeted. See Stormzy’s tweets below.
