Nicolas Jaar has announced that he will be performing “the majority” of a new ambient album at The Kitchen in New York.
The performance of the record, which is scheduled for today (24th October) comes as the second part of two shows following an improv noise set, a performance featuring Africanus Okokon’s Sound Works / Art Works (a new book being released on Jaar’s Other People label) and another with Maziyar Pahlevan. Sirens was the last album released by Jaar which arrived back in 2016. This was followed by an experimental concert film called TRANSITION and a book titled Networks. The electronic producer kicked off his fall tour last month.
