“This is not a test”, pioneering riot grrrl four-piece Bikini Kill are getting back together.
The band, who comprise vocalist Kathleen Hanna, bassist Kathi Wilcox, guitarist Billy Karren and drummer Tobi Vail, broke up back in 1997.
Twenty-two years on, Bikini Kill have now announced that they are reforming, kicking off with three tour dates in the US this spring.
The group gave a brief taster of the reunion in 2017, when they got back together at the Kitchen in New York to perform one song – check it out below.

The group are yet to announce any plans for new music or further tour dates.
