Although the X Factor boss’ gesture was one of kindness, many of the general public are not so convinced. Voicing their opinions on Twitter, many have slated Cowell for his plans.
It appears many of the public are questioning why the head of Syco is not directly donating funds and that his motivation is solely for the public to buy a charity single.
I love how “celebrities” are trying to make grenfell tower fire all about themselves. Simon Cowell to release a single. What a tw@t

Do people really need a gimmick charity song for the victims by Simon Cowell?. What is needed is cash donations by the wealthy people.
