Tame Impala have shared details of a deluxe ‘Collectors Edition‘ of their 2015 album, Currents.
Speaking about the album back in 2016, frontman Kevin Parker wrote: “One year since this album was released. Feels like a lifetime ago but also like it was yesterday at the same time. Needless to say I didn’t predict the effect it would have on my life… and other peoples too it seems…. Endless thank you to everyone who got onboard.”
The Currents reissue will feature the album on limited edition red marbled vinyl with alternative artwork, a 7″ flexidisc with three b-sides, and a 12″ featuring two remixes. The vinyl box set will also include a poster and a zine of “images and scribbles offering a candid glimpse into the making of ‘Currents‘”. The Currents reissue is set for release on 17 November coming just after over a year of teasing fans.
