Watch Cigarettes After Sex play NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert

Cigarettes After Sex have appeared on NPR for the latest instalment of their ‘Tiny Desk Concert‘ series.

The Greg Gonzalez and Phillip Tubbs duo performed renditions of their tracks ‘K‘, the opening track to the band’s eight-year-long awaited album, ‘Apocalypse‘, and ‘Nothing’s Gonna Hurt You Baby‘. Helmed as one of the quietest Tiny Desk Concert‘s yet, the pair’s blend of minimalism and melodic elements provides an intimate experience for all. Watch Cigarettes After Sex below.

The band’s self-titled debut album, Cigarettes After Sex, was released in July this year via Partisan Records.

Earlier this month Courtney Barnett and Kurt Vile took to the NPR offices for a delightfully playful Tiny Desk Concert instalment. Prior to this, King Krule appeared with his band in a previous episode to perform The Ooz tracks ‘Midnight 01 (Deep Sea Diver)‘, ‘Lonely Blue‘, ‘Logos‘, and ‘Sublunary‘.
