Fiona Apple made a rare appearance yesterday at Ohana Festival in Orange County, California.
The singer’s set opened with a live debut of her track ‘Container‘, the theme from Showtime’s The Affair. She also performed an unreleased song with a whole new full band, a number of covers including Brains‘ ‘Money Changes Everything‘, Conway Twitty‘s ‘It’s Only Make Believe‘ and Frank Sinatra‘s ‘I’ll Be Around‘, and did a cartwheel after the crowd sang her ‘Happy Birthday‘. The performance at Ohana marks Fiona’s first show of 2017 whilst late last year, at a Standing Rock benefit, she performed her anti-Trump Christmas song ‘Trump’s Nuts Roasting on an Open Fire‘. She also released the anti-Trump chant ‘Tiny Hands‘ earlier this year.
