Watch Janet Jackson bring out Missy Elliott in Atlanta

Janet Jackson brought out Missy Elliot for a surprise performance of their track ‘BURNITUP!‘ during her Atlanta show last night (17th December).

The unexpected performance took place as Jackson was finishing up her State of the World tour in Atlanta over the weekend. Footage from the show was captured by fans with one attendee uploading a clip to their Instagram account. In addition to fans sharing the moment on social media, Missy Elliott also thanked Jackson for the opportunity writing on Instagram “I’m still AMAZED EVERYTIME you PERFORM!” and that she “couldn’t ask for a better friend/sis“. The State of the World tour was originally postponed due to the singer’s pregnancy and desire to start a family. Earlier this year, Elliot performed her track ‘She’s A Bitch‘ at the VH1 Hip Hop Honors in a demonic-looking outfit.
