During a Foo Fighters show over the weekend Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer, Chad Smith took over from Taylor Hawkins to deliver an epic performance with the band.
The show took place at the Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, New York, on Saturday night and also saw Taylor Hawkins take over from Dave Grohl on vocals for a cover of ‘Stay With Me‘ by The Faces.

This isn’t the first time in recent history that the Foo Fighters’ shows have been filled with surprises. Recently two fans got hitched during one of their concerts and a Dave Grohl look-a-like slayed their track, ‘Monkey Wrench‘, live on stage.
