Wu-Tang Clan affiliated rapper loses lawsuit over stories claiming he cut off his own penis

A judge has thrown out a libel lawsuit filed by rapper Marques Andre Johnson against TMZ.

Johnson, a member of the Wu-Tang Clan-affiliated group Killa Beez, filed the suit after he was wrongly identified as the man who cut off his own penis and jumped from the second story of a building in an apparent suicide attempt. However, it was actually rapper Christ Barer of Wu-Tang Clan affiliate Northstar who harmed himself. Johnson, best known as Andre Roxx, also filed the lawsuit against CBS Interactive, Viacom, and iHeartMedia as they shared the article.

Johnson claimed that he was “threatened, harassed, and attacked by the other inmates” in a Pennsylvanian prison when the news was released. However, due to the statue-of-limitations, Judge Leonard Stark ruled that the case was time-barred and ultimately dismissed it.

Christ Bearer, real name Andre Johnson, has since spoken about the incident in which he says he was depressed as he was not able to see his two daughters due to a restraining order. Only two weeks after the incident his third daughter was born. Johnson claims the incident was not an attempt on his life but rather because he was high on PCP.

The rapper has said in interviews that the doctors were not able to reattach his penis but he “believes sex is for mortals,” and that he is a “God. So this is a blessing, not a curse”. He also said, “in the same year that I cut my penis off, I probably got more pussy than you”.

You can watch an interview below where he claims he’s proud of what happened.
