‘Tis the season for unique and incredible Christmas covers and country-pop newcomer Erin Grand delivers just that.
Officially out everywhere tomorrow (11/18), Erin delivers a cover of “All I Want For Christmas Is You” which rings in the holiday cheer.
“Something I love about cover songs is being able to take them and make them your own- just like you do writing your own music. That’s what I did with this one. I really love jazz Christmas music and I felt like we could jazz this one up a bit. Alex Kiel, my producer, really helped me form this into something totally different yet totally me. We had Alex on the organ and bass, Jon Krentz on the lead guitar and Tyler Kloewer on the Drums. We sat in Alex’s studio in a circle and just plugged in and recorded it in one take, and it turned out to be this super cool, intimate acoustic vibe,” tells Erin.

“‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ has always been my favorite Christmas song to cover. I love how hard it is to sing, and I’m always up for a challenge when it comes to my music,” tells Erin.
It’s no question that Erin Grand is someone that will be on the radar as we head into the new year. With her previous releases this year, Erin has continued to pave a path for herself to continue to shine.
