TODAY – The immensely talented Ellie Grace has released her new single, titled ‘Better Off Alone’. Grace is proving herself to be very consistent with the quality of her releases. ‘Better Of Alone’ has a fantastic atmosphere as far as production is concerned. It sounds very open and breathy. Ellie’s voice is delicate, gentle, and (above all else) absolutely stunning. She sounds clear and confident. Her voice truly embodies the message of the track. Her tone and delivery perfectly convey her inner thoughts of wondering if she would be happier and more self-sufficient on her own. It is about learning to love oneself. The vulnerability of the lyrics is further accentuated by Ellie’s smooth and inspired vocals. Note, that Grace is deeply in love with her fiancé, and this song was written way before they met. It showcases some of the vulnerability of the artist nonetheless, at a different point in her life.
Ellie Grace is the best at what she does. She is all the best things about indie pop. This single is raw, energetic, and inspired all at the same time. Every single is better than the last and this one is her crowning achievement. At least until she releases her next one.
