Reggaetón artist Amber Donoso has released a sensual new track about inner sexual confidence.
Inspired by her love of Harley Quinn and Marvel, ‘Diosa Sensual’ (‘Sensual Goddess’ in English) Amber says: “I had her in mind as I was writing the song,” Donoso reveals. “Growing up, I dreamed of being a superhero — which probably explains why I’ve got long, pink hair! I wanted to convey the part of my personality that is like Harley Quinn: dangerous, addictive, naughty and cheeky — but definitely less destructive!”
The visual for the single focuses entirely on Amber. Pink hair and all, she can be seen singing, dancing and portraying the aspects of her sensual goddess alter-ego.
The track brings together London’s Latin American musical diaspora. She worked with producer El Genialista on the track. Fellow British-based perreo artist Mardeybor also had a hand in the writing process.
The result is the track Donoso is most proud of. “I love it! I’m super proud to be putting out yet another project that pushes the boundaries of reggaeton. As an artist, it’s key for me to make music that people connect to, whether that’s by dancing, singing along, or just listening deeply.”
