Australian pop-punk band Wing Defence releases explosive new single ‘C4 Miles’

Australian Pop-Punk band Wing Defence releases their latest single ‘C4 Miles’, produced by Mario Spate (Tkay Maidza, Megan Washington, and Montaigne). The female-fronted 5-piece hailing from Adelaide has been making waves recently with their 2020 debut EP ‘Friends’ winning Best Punk award, Best Release, and Best Group at the 2020 SA Music Awards. 2021 has seen the band expand on their following garnering support from Triple J, signing to South Korean record label ‘Sound Republica’ and representing Australia at the online/hybrid music conference in Ulsan, APaMM.

Their latest single ‘C4 Miles’ tackles the impact alcohol can have in your life and the clarity that change brings leading to becoming healthier both mentally and physically. Backed by explosive drum beats, driving guitar riffs and Skye’s striking vocal performance, which all culminates in a refreshing track filled with punching melodies and well-crafted lyricism.

Wing Defence was formed by Skye Walter and Paige Court in 2018 and quickly became one of Australia’s most exciting new exports, performing and winning praise at huge national festivals such as BIGSOUND, Groovin’ The Moo and Laneway Festival, as well as on stage supporting the likes of Polish Club, The VANNS and more.
