Bruts – Blame It On Bruts

East London based rapper Bruts unleashes his brand new single ‘Blame It On Bruts’ featuring Levelle London.

As a former member of the M.I.C collective, and a close affiliate of the legendary Nasty Crew, Bruts has collected his stripes as a more-than-qualified MC on the underground. At just 20 years of age, the dynamic lyricist has collaborated with the likes of Dot Rotten, Ghetts and Chipmunk, dropped 9 acclaimed mixtapes between 2006 and 2011 and performed extensively on radio and on stage – BBC 1xtra, Musicalize, Urban Development Industry Takeover, Bigga Fish and Sunday Show are just a few of the places championing Bruts moving into 2012.

Bruts kick started 2012 in impressive fashion, teaming up with rapper / singer / dancer / actress Paigey Cakey and producer Dwayne Patrick (Ghetts, Fem Fel, Fumin, Roachee, Kele Le Roc), to present his online smash ‘Star’, which clocked up over 25000 views online and received intense support from the urban blogosphere.

The multi talented rapper now presents his long anticipated follow up, ‘Blame It On Bruts’, which looks set to eclipse his previous successes and truly launch Bruts into the world of mainstream music. Musically, the single’s backbone is comprised of an amalgamation between rock guitars and electronic production, whilst Bruts steps to the forefront with his typically straight-to-the-point lyricism. London based singer / songwriter Levelle London then rounds off the record with a captivating hook line, which wouldn’t sound out of place sitting comfortably at the top of the charts.

With a plethora of new music currently emerging from the UK urban scene, Bruts effortlessly sets himself apart from the rest with judicious beat selection, ear-bending choruses and an unforgettable vocal delivery, and the East London rapper’s latest effort is set to drive that point home harder than ever. And when you find the single stuck on replay in your head in a few days time, simply blame it on Bruts..
