Hyder is a nineteen year old indie-folk singer-songwriter and guitarist from the small village of Chaldon in Surrey.
He began performing as a solo artist in 2011 and has since launched himself on to the London indie music scene.
Hyder released his first single, “Carefree” on iTunes. However, rather than focusing on unrealistic sales, he strives to meet his fans on a more personal level by engaging his audience and making them laugh, a method that has has proven more fruitful than a traditional “sell, sell, sell” method.
Hyder draws influence from guitarists such as Peter Green, Joe Pass and Grant Green. His main song-writing idols are Richard Rogers, Lennon & McCartney, Paul Simon, Nick Drake and Jim James. his vocal influences are as far ranging as Luciano Pavarotti, Neil Young and David Phelps.
