UK singer Kerrianne Covell has been testing her limits and pushing her boundaries out in Dubai for the past week and a half as she works with the RU Active Sports Services team to boost her fitness.
Talented Kerrianne, 24, of Stockton-on-Tees in the North-east of England, jetted east after signing an international management deal with RU Listening Ltd, and has been working hard to increase her stamina and strength as well as working with nutritionists from sister company Bespoke Wellness to improve her diet and health.
The former X Factor hopeful said she’s enjoying the challenge, and those working with her have been impressed with her dedication.
Kerrianne, who’s also going to be performing while in Dubai and was delighted to get the chance to meet RU Group executive chairman Richard Upshall who took her on a tour of some of the city’s landmarks, said: “If I’m going to be one of those artists that sings and dances for a couple of hours I need to be fitter.
“Dubai is absolutely amazing; I’ve never experienced anywhere like it. The weather’s beautiful. I spent the first week settling in really but I have some gigs planned.
“I’ve been getting fit with the RU Active team and learning so much about my body and nutrition with Bespoke Wellness. I’ve never been worked so hard in my life! It’s a great feeling though; my stamina is improving and also my breathing, which is going to help me so much with singing.
“I feel like Dubai has changed me so much already – in a good way of course! I feel mentally stronger and I’m getting physically stronger too.”
