Apparently funk band ‘Dream Logic’ are looking to ‘perfect simplicity’ in their new album ‘My Black Arts’ out now. That’s a very humble statement from the already very experienced and impressive musical trio. These band members are no strangers to live performing and recording, between them they have played and toured with Christina Aguilera, Joan Jett and D’ Angelo!
One of the track from the new album is ‘ Drunken Monkey’. The song brings funk rock vibes layered with bluesy vocals and of course infectious lyrics. It’s got a few blends of style that come together to create a unique sound, so I’m very surprised that all they wanted to achieve was ‘simplicity’ well sorry, ‘Dream Logic’ you didn’t achieve that, you’ve achieved much much more.
