As a music fan of over two decades, it sometimes takes something really special to catch my ear above and beyond all the music that’s available online these days. However, every now and again something so special comes along, an artist so far ahead of their peers, that you can’t help but take notice.
Dale McKay is just such an artist, and not simply because of his well-written, well-produced pop style. It just so happen that McKay is he owner of one of the finest voices I’ve heard in a long time.
With a rare, soulful depth, it’s the kind of vocal that has layers all its own, and elevates his material to a new level. Which makes it excellent news that his new EP ‘Here and Now’ is coming on September 16th.
