Essex based four piece The Lowriders are following up their debut release ‘Fury’ with another solid indie-rock effort, chock full of songs that ably straddle the distance between the musicality of indie music and the weight of proper guitar rock.
With the songs written as part of the ‘I Am Soldier’ movie soundtrack (commissioned specifically by the director no less), there are all sorts of moments in these guitar heavy tunes that you can imagine going very well with moving pictures.
Perhaps it’s just because they do come as part of a film, but there is definitely something cinematic about this release – the vocals and guitar sounds combining to create something epically filmic.
