Currently based out of the New York City borough of Brooklyn, the sole characters in the forward-thinking PSEUDO/SENTAI unit deliver their message through an unconventional but unfathomably entertaining barrage of mutated thunder. Free-flow, atmospheric rock meets jacked-up prog-fusion with a tidal-strength current of electronic experimentation and video game overload, all coalescing into a bewilderingly miscellaneous yet utterly accessible style of nearly unclassifiable infectious music.
Formed in late 2007 by [RED] and [BLUE], PSEUDO/SENTAI sought to approach music with absolute freedom, having no regard for other’s expectations and playing music that filled their ideas of the missing pieces in the sonic spectrums developed by the musical zeitgeist. “When an artificial intelligence built off a base structure of a human brain contacted us and told us we had been ‘chosen to save the world’, we knew we had decided to do something special,” [BLUE] remarks. “The future has always held the unexpected.”
