Multi-genred influenced Renny C is a new name on the RnB scene, but not on the rock scene. Known in the UK as lead singer of the metallic rock band Forever Never, Renny Carroll is now turning his hand to his other love in his solo project “Renny C.”.
Still there are the layered harmonies and massive hooks that have gained FN much critical acclaim, but what you have now is something truly fresh sounding for the RnB genre. Being inspired by such a wide range of the musical spectrum; from Michael Jackson, to Mint Condition, to Metallica – it is apparent from the off that there is something just a little bit different going on here. The rock influence is definitely evident, but without even the need for guitars to accentuate this.
