It’s three brothers and a drummer that make up Estrella, an Aberdeen based rock band. The groups single ‘Whatever it is’ from their debut Album ‘Come Out To Play’ really pulls in the 70/80’s, Aerosmith/Def Leppard vibe. The retro fuelled song comes alive with strong vocals by front man, Paul Gunn and backed up by pure confidence in lead guitarist Luke Gunn and Leo McPherson on drums. The infectious excitement this single brings causes it to be one you can’t wait to see live, perhaps in their European tour in November 2014? Yes please! I’m looking forward to see what’s next for Estrella who are rumoured to release their next album mid 2015.
