The new single from UK rock group Indya, ‘Not a Line’ is a song which will initially appeal to two particular generations. First, those who grew up with the hard hitting, melodic rock of the 70s and 80s. And second, a generation of people who were introduced to those classic tunes via the beauty of the Guitar Hero games.
In truth, one of the first things that spring to mind when listening to this was that it would be great fun to get your teeth into ‘Not a Line’ as part of that video game – taking great advantage of all the lovely, interlaced riffs. However, listen a few more times and the foreboding style gets under your skin. This marks a strong start to the year for Indya, hopefully there’s plenty more to come.
