UK rock band Kill For Eden release their first single and video ‘Love You So’ from their second studio album ‘Petty Crimes’

Kill for Eden are purveyors of classic hard rock, radio-ready riffs and powerful female vocals. The band are made up singer Lyla D’Souza, a seasoned professional hailing from Australia, Dave Garfield Brown – veteran guitarist who has toured alongside acts from Joe cocker to Rammstein – alongside bassist Mike McGuiness and drummer Wally Miroshnikov.

All based in London but understandably harvesting a distinctively international flavour, Kill For Eden have been making high-octane heavy rock together since 2011. Their music has been championed by Radio X, Kerrang Radio, and they have been likened to Skunk Anansie, Halestorm, The Cult and Garbage.

Plus if you’re looking for an explanation where the band name came from…this should put your mind at ease!

The band said: “Kill for Eden represents the irony that throughout history, in the name of religion, people have killed in order to preserve their ideology of Eden (purity of their beliefs) and happily kill those who don’t conform… in a way we still do this in first world countries leeching off the planet’s resources so we can live the lives of luxury at the expense off the planet and the poor who work hard for little return.”

Their new single ‘Love You So’ definitely appeals, it blends the band’s trademark rock swagger with a catchy, radio-ready melody, and all tied together by Lyla D’Souza’s inimitable vocals. The video is also rather intriguing with a sexy swagger and a Point Break-esque story. There is no doubt that the international influences within the band make the whole feel of the track and video something a little different.
