Jeremy Remond – The Comeback

Most artists wouldn’t consider dropping a song the same week as Drake’s greatly anticipated ‘Views from the 6’ release, but Jeremy Remond isn’t “most” artists. What most would consider a bold statement for someone new to the rap game, Remond’s assertiveness and lyricism is set to have him on everyone’s radar soon.

With St. Louis being his sanctuary he has been rhyming since the tender age of 12. Growing up in a quintessential two-parent household with his two younger siblings, he felt pressured to follow the standard “American Dream” by graduating from college and venturing into a lucrative career in corporate America.

Due to this pressure, he put his passion for music on the backburner. Upon graduating high-school he attended college on a partial academic scholarship, along with pursuing a basketball career. Neither of which could suffice his hearts desire. And, whether it be his friends requesting him to freestyle or an affirming dream…he would always comeback to his true calling, music.

He’s now unapologetically determined and destined to be one of the stand-out emcees on the rise. Remond refuses to be limited in his music and you can expect a wide spectrum of styles, as he experiments with up-tempo, grittier sounds to more relaxed, conscious beats. Most describe him as low-key, but his flow and stage presence is anything but.

Life, love and living out one’s purpose are all common themes you’ll find throughout his records. He’s confident and charismatic, characteristics not only bound to his music. He doesn’t believe anything should be forced and what you’re good at will always come naturally….and that’s what you can expect from upcoming artist Jeremy Remond.

With his debut single ‘The Comeback’ scheduled to drop on 4/30, he is ready to embark on his greatest endeavor thus far. For storytellers, professional writers, and taste-makers alike; this could narrate a story familiar to the new generation. Knowing your purpose. Putting much effort into this release, Remond only wants to be heard.
