Klassik – Stageslayer

Milwaukee’s Klassik is truly an old soul. His fusion of Hip-Hop and Jazz, amongst many other genres, pays homage to the many legends of generations past. His music is not based around braggadocio or glorification of the world’s ills, but rather portrays a positive, forward thinking person, fueled by his inspiration to constantly create and innovate. His diverse influences including Stevie Wonder, John Coltrane, Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, and Steely Dan, have helped mold a blend of musical styles that comes out one hundred percent unique, fresh, and timeless.

Like the tales of knights and dragons, a STAGEslayer is a special individual with the fortitude and artistry to conquer any size stage set in their path. Sometimes those stages aren’t stages at all. Staircases, bar counters and patrons alike become platforms for the spirited performer to command the scene, wielding only the power of his radiance, passion, and energy.

STAGESlayer is a visual/auditory representation of how one goes about slaying the stage. There’s many of Milwaukee’s most talented and beautiful people as extras in it. It’s almost a daily occurrence for Klassik and this constantly evolving Milwaukee music scene. Please continue to follow the musical journey as the SEASONS unfold.

This film is directed by Nick Drew of Couch Fire Films and was produced in conjunction with Klass Act Production. It was shot in Milwaukee at Hotel Foster.
