Twayn are 18 year old twin sisters, Hannah and Grace, from Newcastle, who are bringing close harmonies, stunning lyrics and Gen Z energy to its 2023 singles.
Twayn have released their newest single ‘XOXO’., which is overflowing with vibrant vocals, energetic melodic hooks and a fast paced tempo.
‘XOXO’ instantly grabs our attention with its catchy beats and the beautiful vocal harmonies of Twayn.
Hannah and Grace then proceed to deliver creative lyrics that flow perfectly with the infectious pop melodies, which ensures that you will have this song on repeat.
The girls have been writing songs for as long as they can remember but used the time over the various Covid pandemic lockdowns to learn how to produce, record and release their own music.
2022 was a pivotal year for the girls when, still only 17 years old, they entered two song-writing competitions; they were placed top 10 in the Song Academy Young Songwriting Competition (SAYS22) out of over 850 entries and came a momentous 2nd place in the Liverpool International Songwriting Competition – Road to Nashville (out of over 22,000 entries), where they got to perform on the iconic Exit/In stage in Nashville.
The twin sisters’ prize-winning song ‘sweet 16’ and all subsequent releases have all received airplay on BBC Introducing and multiple spins on Amazing Radio both in the UK and the USA.
The twins studied for their A levels while simultaneously writing and releasing further new music. Now finished with school and with a full-time focus on their music, the girls are supported by Help Musicians and recently supported Tors at The Cluny in Newcastle.
