18 year old twins Twayn release this ‘end of a chapter’ song

Twayn release another powerful ballad featuring their beautiful sibling harmonies with piano.

Lyrically ‘Post Script’ speaks to the importance of song writing as a mechanism to cope with the challenges of being a teenager in today’s social media world.

Ironically, anyone who writes songs in this way to find solace can instead find themselves under scrutiny; people will simply jump to their own conclusions as to what the lyrics mean and about whom they are written.

‘Post Script’ begins with a delightful piano arrangement and then Twayn give life to truly heartfelt lyrics.

The track tells of the perils of this kind of speculation.

Pain-filled lyrics such as “Stop framing me to be the villain” and “Don’t forget I’m human too”, evoke the sense of hurt and heartache that can be caused by uninformed speculation.

The truth at the core of the song is that song writing, and music generally, help and heal and that’s a good thing.

Hannah and Grace say “Post Script tells of how writing down thoughts and feelings can provide you with comfort, whilst navigating all the challenges that life throws at you.

We see this track as drawing a line on our school years.

It’s an end to one phase of our lives, and the dawn of an exciting new chapter for Twayn as we focus on music full-time with financial support from Help Musicians.”
