Chayla Hope makes her return with her latest impeccably crafted pop single, “Long Way”
With a background that includes working on vinyl production at Gotta Groove Records in Cleveland, sharing stages with renowned acts like The Marías, and collaborating with the promising producer Jesty Beatz, Chayla Hope is poised to step into the limelight. Her recent release, “Long Way,” pays homage to the New Jack Swing era with its funky pop vibes.
Transitioning from her involvement in alternative rock bands, Chayla discovered her true calling in the pop genre. She shares, “Pop is the music that shaped my upbringing, the tunes my mother played while tidying the house. It has always been a steady, uplifting force in my life. It defines who I am.” Her earlier singles, such as “Love in Lo-Fi,” “Falling,” “Forget Me Not,” and “High,” provide a glimpse into what her debut album, ‘Damn, Feelings,’ will bring forth in late October.
“Long Way,” was skillfully mixed by Andrew Wuepper, a three-time GRAMMY award nominee. According to Chayla, the song encapsulates “the transient emotions one might feel while growing and experiencing life with someone, acknowledging and eventually expressing the possibility that it might not last indefinitely.”
