Eclipse is full of ‘Love’

Life is about experience. Experience consists of memories. However, relationships give those memories meaning, purpose, and value. Thus, relationships are our guides, our compass. It gives our experiences direction. Let love be your shepherd. The day you stop growing is the day you start dying. Our branches comprise of our connections, the seeds of growth. It is what makes us human. Happiness isn’t a constant. Happiness is being at peace with yourself. One thing that gives your heart, mind, and body peace is whom you decide to share your experiences with. Boldly go where your heart has always wished to go.

“The question I asked myself in the creation of this video was how can I convey life’s meaning. To me, it’s about the connections we make. It’s about what memories we make with those connections. We all know deep down that’s what gives us peace. However, I think many of us become betrayed by it. We then don’t trust it. Rightfully so in many people’s circumstances. That’s what I tried to convey in the video. The betrayal of human connection and the effect it can have on our souls. I think of life as simultaneous to that of a plant. How light can stem our growth and darkness be our downfall. How we can wither away and be born again. How life is finite. How we can’t control which dirt our seeds were born into. I wrote the song and shot the footage about 5 years ago. The timing of its release was just right for me personally. I have always had this concept. I was inspired by Terrence Malick’s “Tree of Life”, “Interstellar”, “Up”, and many others. It was important for me that the video was simple because that’s what life needs to be sometimes. That you can tell a story of the heart in a couple different shots and that depending on how you perceive it your heart can feel it a different way.” – Eclipse
