U.N.I.T.Y are a North Carolina group who are captivating audiences with their mix of R&B, soul, rock and pop. The band use their platform to provide messages of positivity and love. The acronym stands for Uniting Nations In The Years to come, as they encourage people to follow their dreams and be the best possible version of themselves.
The four-piece band members include; Daniel “Showtime” Barrett (Singer/Songwriter), Harkeem “Hollywood” Brantley (Pianist), Tyleek “Beast” Bazil (Drummer), and Joey “Guru” Lamb (Bassist). Influenced by the likes of Michael Jackson and James Brown, the band have already opened for a wealth of artists and played at many venues throughout North Carolina.
The band released two singles, ‘Fear‘ and ‘We Gotta Make a Change‘, which you can watch above, in 2016. They are now focusing on putting out new content to further spread their message with the release of their newest single ‘Beautiful Catastrophe‘.
