Heil James Project shows classical piano has a place in electronic music

When listening to classical piano, most people wouldn’t think of pairing it with electronic music, however, this is exactly what the Heil James Project has been doing.

The incredibly talented piano player decided to challenge himself to combine the two together to create a completely mesmerising sound. Drawing inspiration from other notable artists, such as Lindsey Stirling and Jarrod Radnich who merge styles of music together, the Heil James Project has created his own texturally rich sound.

The Italian has obvious talent when it comes to the piano as he plays complicated arrangements with ease. Equally as impressively, he composes these arrangements himself.

Just when you think it couldn’t get any more interesting, he adds layers of synths and electronic drums to give a truly immersive experience. The above video is the Heil James Project‘s cover of Sia‘s ‘The Greatest‘ which is perfect example of this classical/electronic fusion.

On his YouTube you can find different variations of instruments and musical styles, as he likes to experiment as often as possible. Check out the Heil James Project‘s socials below to hear the innovative sounds.
