John Adams’ organic sound creates an unforgettable impact

Hailing from Aberdare in the South Welsh Valleys, John Adams has the ability to capture a mood and emotion solely through his voice. His acoustic approach compliments his unique style; writing about his innermost thoughts and stirring observations.

John left his job as a mathematics teacher and pursued his passion of becoming a songwriter and performer. Steadily gaining an impressive online following, with 21,000 followers on Twitter and 28,000 on Facebook, he consistently creates an unforgettable impact. The Welsh singer delivers a satisfyingly impressive sound, infusing both organic and stripped back vocals with minimalistic electronic production.

The strength of Adam’s live performances have helped the singer and guitar player connect with his fans on a personal level. Busking around the streets of his hometown, Adams’ was able to self-fund his debut album, the aptly named The Pavement Is My Stage. The album went on to reach no.7 in the iTunes Singer/Songwriter charts with a five-star rating. Additionally, the record secured him a publishing deal with Music Wales and was used in various TV spots for Black Cloud Productions in America.
