Leeds-based band Leodis have just released their new single ‘Live it Up’

Leeds-based band Leodis have just released their new single ‘Live it Up’ – dropping on all streaming platforms on the 28th May.

This song is their most proud to date that is accompanied by the band’s first feel-good music video.

Though summer 2020 is cancelled, summer vibes are always welcome, and that’s exactly what you get with this song.

The band have been creating waves in the music scene both locally and nationally, being labelled as “Alt-rock powerhouses” by the BBC as well as selling out shows and supporting local artists like Skinny Living on their sold-out Yorkshire tour.

Recently, Leodis debuted on the national festival scene – opening Reading and Leeds Festival on the BBC Introducing Stage and playing to swarms of eager rock fans.

Being self-produced, writing all their songs out of a small studio set up in bassist George Hodgson’s home has allowed them to create a solid portfolio of strong authentic rock-fuelled music.

This year, their debut single ‘Cocaine Kelly’ also reached a whopping 60 thousand plus streams on Spotify.

Their latest release ‘Live It Up’ is yet another addition to a mature discography which includes ‘Hurricane,’ High Roller and Amsterdam’ and ‘Me, Myself & I’.

The Band have also amassed an impressive 120 thousand Spotify streams.

“We felt the important thing was to keep making new music and working on what we’ve made already – that’s our focus right now. We love to see the joy our fans get when we release new music” said drummer Louie Suttle-Marshall.

Currently the band are collaborating with grammy-nominated songwriter Steve Chrisanthou, who has worked with the likes of Corinne Bailey Rae as part of their next steps to greatness.
