Lewis Floyd Henry is the busking sensation you need to hear about

Lewis Floyd Henry is a musician from London who has become known for his energetic and unique street performances. Channeling his inner-Hendrix he has perfected his live shows to create a truly immersive experience.

Lewis’ street performances gather large crowds and it wasn’t long before people started filming them and uploading them to YouTube and Facebook. They quickly started going viral and many of the videos now have millions of views. One of the first instances of this was his fierce cover of Wu-Tang Clan‘s ‘Protect Ya Neck‘ seven years ago. The video quickly gained traction and had over 178,000 views, which at the time was a huge number. He has recently revisited the cover which you can check out below.

However, this was only the start. His re-workings of songs include mashups you would never expect to hear: from Notorious B.I.G and Motörhead to Wu-Tang Clan and Metallica. These videos have had over 2 million views each on Facebook alone.

Lewis shouldn’t be mistaken for a cover artist though, as he is a seriously talented songwriter. His recent album One Man & His 30watt Pram was released early this month. His incredible live presence translates well to record and showcases his clever songwriting.
